1.6 Listening Room
Aayesha Ejaz's Graphic Memoir

Aayesha Ejaz's graphic memoir explores the experience of growing up in an orthodox community, navigating gendered norms, and the evolving relationship with support systems—both external and within oneself. Through deeply personal storytelling, she shares her journey of connection, loss, and self-discovery. Created as both an act of healing and a means of expression, the memoir serves as a safe space for Aayesha while also reaching out to others who may face similar struggles across different identities.
